1. Effective Communication

Learn about skills to communicate effectively, handle both oral and written communication required at the workplace at a functional level and apply communicative skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in the workplace as well as in social and cross-cultural settings.

2. Office Software Applications
To produce office documents using word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software packages. In addition, students will be able to handle file management and have a basic appreciation of the user level maintenance of hardware.
3. Customer Service

To cultivate customer rapport, manage their needs and expectations, handle service recovery and promote products and services.

4. Principles of Office Administration

To handle key company processes such as records management, procurement and payment, managing office supplies, processing mail, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, user level maintenance of office equipment.

5. Business Event Organisation

To plan, send invitations, handle registration and perform guest relations activities, handle logistic arrangements for an event and event close-down activities.

6. Professional Etiquette and Grooming

Learning about appropriate dress code and etiquette displayed in business settings.

7. Book-Keeping

Understanding basics of accounting and recording of business transactions using business software package.
