This public speaking course is to enable professionals and academics to acquire and achieve proper spoken English skills and to make them comprehend and communicate in fluent English. Participants are guided in the key areas of Public Speaking that will enable them to practice and give powerful presentations.

Learning Objectives

The objective of this course is to enable professionals and academics to acquire and achieve proper spoken English skills and to make them comprehend and communicate in fluent English. Key areas on the Need and Importance of effectively Presenting an Argument and Selling An Idea, Information Gathering and Preparation Work, Understanding your Audience (including non-verbal body language), Types of Presentation, Using Correct Speech and Pronunciation; Vocabulary and Grammar; Emphatic statements and sentences to Persuade , Empower and Build Confidence, Things to Avoid, amongst others.

The outline of the course includes:

• Vocabulary and Grammar;
• Emphatic statements and sentences;
• Empowering and understanding your audience;
• and Confidence building.

Entry Qualifications

• Basic High school English level;
• English Conversation Elementary (Level 1).

Students may also attempt the English Placement Test Sample by LCCI online.

Award Criteria
